The Minneapolis Urban League
is seeking to fill two Program Service Specialist II
positions. One in the
Juvenile Advocacy program with the Youth
Achievement Cluster and the other in the
OOPS program with
the Social Wellness Cluster. Must display a commitment to
working w/ & advocating for African American youth, other
people of color, & low-income individuals. Knowledge of a
broad range of social service & assistance providers in
Greater Metro area. Ability to communicate effectively,
professionally, orally & in writing. Demonstrate skills in
healthy youth development & crisis intervention skills.
Provide assessment & referrals for potential program
participants. Case management services to clients. Education
beyond HS – Associates degree + 2 years related exp, w/ 1 yr
of direct exp providing referrals & counseling.
